Burgess Lands grant scheme launched

Organisations are being invited to submit an application for grant aid, following the launch of the 2013 round of Burgess Land Trust grants.

The Trust is seeking applications for grant aid funding which would benefit the elderly or younger persons in the area of the Trust - Welshpool, part of Guilsfield, part of Castle Caereinion and Trewern.

Grants can be for revenue or capital use but cannot be used for staff salaries and must be made to organisations (not individuals). The grants are normally up to £250.

Applications should be received by the Trust no later than May 31. Application forms and more details are available from the Town Clerk's Office at Triangle House, Union Street, or through wtcouncil@btinternet.com
