Five deny affray charges

 Five young Welshpool men are denying affray following an incident outside the Dolphin public house in Llanymynech.

one man suffered a broken skull during the incident outside the public house in the middle of Llanymynech.

In front of Welshpool Magistrates Court on Tuesday were: Matthew Robert Burns, 21, of Bronybuckley, Welshpool; Liam Nicoll, 20, Brookfield Road, Welshpool; Joshua Michael Parry, 20, of Gungrog Road, Welshpool; Sam Williams of Gungrog Hill, Welshpool and a 17 year old youth from Welshpool.

All five deny charges of affray that at Llanymynech, with others, they used or threatened no awful violence.Burns, Nicoll and Parry also deny assaulting David Kynaston, causing him actual bodily harm.

All five were granted bail and the case was adjourned for committal to Crown Court on June 18.
