Hafren reveals a ‘magic’ schedule

The Hafren has unveiled a stunning and diverse line-up of leading acts and events that will keep us entertained right up until Christmas.

Cerys Matthews (right), the former singer for Catatonia, has confirmed a one-night only show in September with tickets selling fast, while Andy Parsons, who did a side splitting stand-up in 2011 in the venue, and veteran entertainer Paul Daniels have also included Montgomeryshire on their British tours.

For the family, James and the Giant Peach will hit the stage in November while there is also opera, The BBC National Orchestra of Wales and even the hugely successful Vagina Monologues included.

It all adds up to an impressive range of performances with quite literally something for everyone.

“We are proud to have the usual wide variety of shows on this season which not only accommodates our local performers but also big names from further afield,” said Sara Clutton, Theatre Manager.
