"The town of Welshpool has been suffering with anti-social behaviour and drinking related problems affecting peoples lives and retailers in the town centre," said town clerk Robert Robinson.
" Such behaviour does nothing to help the town, nor does it help with keeping Welshpool a great place to live.
"The Town Council is working with the Police to try and tackle these problems head on at a very senior level," he added. " To aid this process the Town Council needs to provide evidence with regard to the scale of the problem."
Now the council is asking for reports to be sent in writing to include a date, location and short description of the activity.
Incidents should be reported to: Email town.clerk@welshpooltowncouncil.gov.uk or in writing to the town clerk at Triangle House Union Street Welshpool
"Your help is needed so that we can all start to tackle the antisocial minority which causes such concern to many residents of Welshpool," said. Mr Robinson.
