It looks like being a busy weekend for Welshpool.
On Friday we will give a taste of what’s on, but in the meantime, the Mayor is hosting a Coffee Morning on Friday in the Corn Exchange 9am-12noon. With cups of tea or coffee available for just 50p, there will also be a raffle and book sale, with proceeds from these and the refreshment sales going to the Mayor’s chosen charities which are the Welshpool Leg Club Severn and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
On Saturday, the final Spring Craft Fair will be held at the Corn Exchange. Organised by Welshpool Town Council, it will open from 9am-4pm and feature 15 stalls showing handcrafted goods by local crafters and artisans including jewellery, oil paintings, decoupage on slate, woodturning, greetings cards and jams and chutneys. Admission is free but refreshments will be sold to raise funds for the Royal British Legion.
