Thank-you readers, says Berriew School

Berriew School has issued a big ‘thank-you’ to MyWelshpool readers who supported their Spring Fete.

A big turn-out, encouraged by the stunning weather, helped to raise £1,100 in total.

A PTA spokesperson said: “On behalf of the children, many thanks to everyone who came along, blew up balloons, baked a cake, made a donation, bought a raffle ticket, strung up bunting, ate a hot dog, sumo wrestled, bounced on the castle, had some fun! It was a very successful day.”
