Monty Tour tennis events to be held
Three tennis clubs in Montgomeryshire will be running events for competition beginners, designed to get more children playing tennis in a fun and enjoyable environment.
The Monty Tour event is open to all players whether they have played in the Powys schools competitions, their local tennis venue or even had a go in last year’s events.
The three tennis clubs that will be hosting the events are:
- Newtown Tennis Club on Sunday 23 June
- Montgomery Tennis Club on Saturday 6 July
- Berriew Tennis Club on Saturday 20 July
In order to encourage as many players as possible to play in several events rather than just their local event, a ‘circuit points scoring system’ has been devised.
