A celebration of musical achievement with a difference was held at Guilsfield on Saturday.
June Roy and Joan Upton-Holder hosted another hugely successful Pupils’ Concert at Guilsfield Old School.
This year 41 budding musicians of all ages got the chance to show off their musical talent and were given an opportunity to perform in front of a packed house of very proud parents, grandparents and friends.
Everyone present joined together to support a worthwhile good cause carefully selected by Roy and Joan with the proceeds of this year’s concert donated to, Parkinson’s UK. During the interval Dr A. L. Solomon expressed his thanks on behalf of the charity and went on to explain how Parkinson’s disease was first discovered and how considerable progress has been made treating the condition.
