Two men who deny stealing £2,000 worth of alcohol from a supermarket in Welshpool are to appear before Llandrindod Magistrates today (Thursday).
Ricardas Taurinskas, 28, from Austin Street, Wolverhampton and Aigars Mikitis, 38, also of Austin Street, Wolverhampton, appeared at Welshpool Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
They both denied a charge of theft from the town’s Tesco on June 29.
It is alleged the two men stole bottles valued at £2,000.
Both men were remanded in custody and will appear at Llandrindod Wells Magistrates Court today via videolink for a trial date to be fixed.
