Local man jailed for burglary

A 22-year-old man from Llanfair Caereinion has been sentenced to eight months in jail for a burglary at Moelygarth, near Welshpool.

Danny Graham Hanson was also sentenced to four months for witness intimidation following the break in last year. 

A 24-year-old woman, Stacey Louise Edwards from Churchstoke, was also sentenced to eight months imprisonment for her part in the offence. That sentence has been suspended for two years.

Another man, 24-year-old Robert Luke Morris, has been convicted of involvement in the same incident. He is due to be sentenced at a later date.
