Fire service false alarm

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed it was called out to a false alarm in Welshpool last night.
Residents took to Twitter to say fire fighters were in the area of Maes Owen but it appears to be all clear.
A service spokesperson told us: “They did attend the area but it was a false alarm.”
