Family hospitalised after Buttington smash

A family of four has been taken to hospital following a three-car smash at a notorious traffic black spot just outside Welshpool tonight (Sunday).

The main road near Buttington Bridge is still closed following the three-car collision but a police recovery team is on the scene and hope to re-open it soon. One male driver has been arrested following the collision.

Buttington Bridge is a renowned trouble spot for motorists and has been the location for a number of serious accidents.
