Prior to this event, 12 cadets gained their Amateur Radio Foundation Licences which count as one of the six modules towards the Communications Badge.
The group has also won a UK Radio Field Day Competition which all Services compete in, with the most number of contacts from Aberdeen to Jersey.
“There are many more events coming up such as football, netball, shooting, swimming, hockey etc, and lots of Flying too,” said Richard Evans, Civilian Instructor. “So if you’re aged between 13-20, please come and see us Monday and Fridays from 7pm-9.30pm.”
