Assembly Member backs council

 Assembly Member Russ George has backed Powys County Council's decision yesterday to refuse planning applications for the Garreg Lwyd Hill wind farm and its associated road links. 

“I think Powys Council have made the right decision in refusing both these applications,'' he said

“I am strongly against the proliferation of onshore wind farms in Montgomeryshire which would lead to the industrialisation of our beautiful Mid Wales landscape.''
