Llanfyllin singer ‘Has Got Talent’

A Llanfyllin singer has shown she’s got the X-factor after scooping one of the top prizes at the successful 3^rd ‘Who’s Got Talent in Montgomeryshire’.

India Argent’s stunning version of ‘Make You Feel My Love’ by Adele won the ‘Live Performance’ category at Newtown’s Theatre Hafren, impressing the judges who included local singing sensation Dai Robs as well as previous winners of the competition.

Six youth clubs including Llanfair Caereinion, Welshpool and Llanfyllin held auditions for hopefuls to go through and compete for the main prizes in the ‘Live Performance’ and ‘Visual Art’ categories as well as the ‘Welsh Culture’ section.

The event is run as part of National Youth Work week and was set up to enable young people to promote themselves and to celebrate the achievements of local youth workers.
