Lembit Opik has been voted off I’m a Celebrity after just 14 days in the Jungle.
The former Montgomeryshire MP was voted off by the public in tonight’s show on ITV1, ending a disappointing fortnight for the Lib Dem.
Lembit, who was bitten by a snake in last night’s episode, is the second celebrity to be booted off the show and said: “I feel good about what I have learned.”
Asked by presenters Ant and Dec about how he felt, Lembit said: “It is really strange to be out. It feels quite odd and I’ll miss the others.
“The camp exceeded my expectations in a good way. I have learned a lot about myself. For starters I have never been bitten by a snake. I have learned so much about myself.
Before leaving the hardship of the Australian jungle for a five-star hotel tonight, Lembit said: “I am not going to make a judgment on who wins.”
