Residents are being urged to recycle more this Christmas.
And they are being asked to make a new year commitment to recycling more in 2015 as Powys County Council highlights changes to recycling and waste collection dates during the festive season.
“Christmas can be a busy time for people, but that shouldn’t mean that recycling takes a back seat.
"Get your family members and guests involved and inform them what can and can’t be recycled” said Councillor Barry Thomas, Leader and Cabinet Member for Waste Management.
“It’s very important that we send as little rubbish as possible to landfill and recycle wherever possible.”
