Police want help after series of incidents

Police want your help if you witnessed an assault in Borfa Green or know who is attacking a Castle View property.

They are investigating an assault on a female in the area of Borfa Green and Hospital Lane at 8.30am yesterday morning.

"The victim did not receive any injuries but as a result of this assault a male has been arrested and is currently in custody at Newtown Police Station," said A spokesman for Dyfed Powys Police.

"If anybody in the Borfa Green area witnessed any assault they are asked to contact Welshpool Police on ‘101’ asking for PC Youens.

Police also need your help tracing a person who has been kicking the door of a property in Castle View.

"Since Christmas, on quite a few occasions, the last on Sunday, Someone has been kicking the door of a property on Castle View, Welshpool whilst they have been passing with some considerable force," said PC Karma Evans.

This is causing distress to the occupant and any information to be forwarded to PC 542 Evans at Welshpool Police Station or on Crime stoppers 0800 555 111.
