Focus on Welshpool personalities

The Rotary Club of Welshpool has published another booklet in its series entitled Welshpool Personalities.

Volume 11 contains articles on the Welshpool Grammar School in 1861, royal briefs appealing for funds relating to Welshpool, two Welshpool architects, and the stories of three Welshpool men who served in the First and Second World Wars, amongst other items.

The price remains at £1 for this 24-page booklet, and all proceeds go to Water Aid, an international charity sponsored by Rotary.

Copies may are available from members of the Rotary Club or from the Tourist Information Centre.
