Woman hit by vehicle on Saturday night

A 58-year-old woman was taken to hospital on Saturday night after being hit by a vehicle.

The incident happened shortly after midnight when police arrived on Berriew Road to find the injured woman lying in the road.

The vehicle was still at the scene and the woman was transferred to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by ambulance suffering from leg injuries.
