Celebrating 100 years of Berriew School

An event has been organised to bring together generations of former Berriew Primary School pupils to celebrate the schools centenary.

The day will be held on July 11 from noon with the official opening at 1pm when a cake will be cut.

“Following this, entertainment will be provided on the field (weather permitting) by past and present pupils with light refreshments also available on the small playground,” said Phil Wilson, Chair of Governors.

“On display in the school will be photographs and memorabilia where ex pupils can add their own memories. The rest of the afternoon is an opportunity to catch up with old friends and reminisce and for those who want to continue, the bar will be open for a short while from 4pm.”
