Oops: More one-way chaos

There have been numerous incidents claiming to prove that Welshpool’s one-way system has failed, but perhaps this picture tops them all?

Luckily no-one has been hurt after the HGV failed to squeeze past a tiny car parked at the top end of the system opposite Andrews Fish Bar.

One of the numerous complaints has been about the lack of room for large vehicles to comfortably drive through the town centre, and the proof is probably in this picture send in by our eagle eyed reader.

The accident happened around 11.30am today (Tuesday) causing the lane to be closed for some time with police on the scene directing traffic.

The Welsh Government has vowed to make changes to the one-way system, including the pictured junction, but as yet nothing has been done.
