Welshpool to mark VJ Day

Welshpool Town Council, working with the Royal British Legion, is marking the 70th anniversary of VJ Day tomorrow (Saturday).

A procession through the town will be followed by refreshments served in the Lower Market Hall.

The organisers would like to invite anyone who wishes to pay their respects to the veterans to go along and walk in the procession. Please arrive at Berriew Street Car Park at 2.20pm, ready for the procession to begin at 2.50pm.
