Health Board annual meeting

Powys Teaching Health Board will hold its annual meeting on September 17 at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells.

Members of the public are invited to attend to find out how the health board has performed over the past year and hear about plans for the future.

The event will include presentations from the Chief Executive and Finance Director as well as presentations on key areas of work including:

• The award winning Virtual Ward scheme
• Lymphoedema services
• Carpel Tunnel Syndrome services
• Charitable donations

There will then be an interactive session delivered by Public Health Wales entitled Making healthy choices – Public Health in Powys and an interview with the Nurse of the Year, Veronica Jarman.

The meeting is being held in the Hafod a Hendre building from 1-4pm.
