Eisteddfod exhibition at Museum

Powysland Museum in Welshpool has opened an Eisteddfod exhibition to mark the event’s hosting in Meifod earlier this month.

Running through to October 6, the exhibition celebrates this important cultural event with photographs, memorabilia and bardic chairs relating to previous eisteddfods in Powys and beyond.

Besides items from the museum’s own collection, there are also objects on loan from Brecknock Museum and Art Gallery, Radnorshire Museum, Llanidloes Museum and Powys Archives.

The museum says it is most grateful to these organisations for their help and support.

Admission is free throughout to the end of August.
