A Llansantffraid man has been banned from driving after admitting drink driving on a scooter.
Abraham Parkes, 40, of Maes-y-Cain, Llansantffraid, was discovered by an ambulance crew after the scooter broke down and police were called Welshpool Magistrates were told.
In addition to the disqualification, Parkes was fined £125 and ordered to pay a £150 court charge, a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
When breath tested he gave a reading of 60 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
