After leaving the Sixth Form Danielle Allison had no idea what she was going to do with her life – until she found a job with McCartneys.

Now a year on she knows her future lies in estate agency and is looking forward to being able to qualify as a member of National Association of Estate Agents.

“On May 2 I completed my first year of working for McCartneys Estate Agents in the Welshpool Office,” said Danielle.

“When I left Sixth Form I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do but after a couple of weeks of working for McCartneys I had realised that estate agency was going to be the career for me.

“The past year has flown by but in the best possible way it feels like I have worked here forever. I really enjoy my job and have learnt so much in a year of working here.

“I started as a Sales Negotiator and since that start of the year have also been working with Rental properties. The best part of the job for me is agreeing a sale. I love negotiating between the client and potential buyer.

“Another highlight for me this year was working at the Royal Welsh Show on the McCartneys stand. I always wanted a job with plenty of variety and working for McCartneys definitely gives me this.

“No two days are the same and there is always something to be doing whether it’s interacting with clients in the office or going out on appointments to carry out viewings or Schedule of Conditions.

“I think one of the main things that make my job so enjoyable is the people I work with, especially the people in the Welshpool and Newtown offices. I have made some great friends since working at McCartneys and I’m lucky to work with such lovely people.

“In the near future, I would like to to become qualified as a member of National Association of Estate Agents and learn to carry out Market Appraisals. I’m excited for my future at McCartneys and look forward to learning a lot more.”
