New captains at Welshpool GC

Only a few hardy golfers braved gale force winds and driving rain as new captain Dave Jones drove into office at Welshpool Golf Club today.

Jones succeeded outgoing captain John Wood and players were grateful to return to the course after a month of deep snow on The Golfa only to be faced with horrendous conditions.
