Montgomery face up to the big test today when they travel to Spar Mid Wales League Division Two leaders Tregaron Turfs.
And Manager Clive McNamee is confident that his side can prove themselves on the road and reveal their credentials as real championship contenders.
"We travel in good spirits with a full squad for the first time this season," said McNamee who has set his heart on being the first winners of the new division.
"Although no two games are the same we go with confidence having already won there in the Welsh Cup this season. We are unbeaten in 10 league and cup games and we are determined to keep the good run going.
A win for Montgomery would put them just two points behind Tregaron but with three games in hand and with close rivals Kerry and Rhosgoch meeting each other today there is a lot at stake.
