Waterloo Rovers missed the chance to secure some Spar Division One mid-table comfort after being held 1-1 at ‘home’ to Newbridge.
After switching to the Maesydre pitch normally reserved for Technogroup Welshpool to ensure the game was played, Rovers had to settle for a point in the cold.
Meanwhile, Abermule’s disappointing weather-affected run in the league continued when they slumped to a 4-0 defeat at home to Bont.
The defeat leaves the villagers without a victory in the Spar Division Two since October, although only three matches have been played since.

Three matches managed to beat the weather with Churchstoke lifting themselves off the bottom of the Honda Division One with a 2-1 win over fellow strugglers Bettws.
James Everton bagged one for the visitors but Churchstoke jumped above Berriew Reserves with goals from Neil Yapp and Jamies Davies.
In Division Two, Llanfechain closed the gap on the leaders with a 6-0 win at Waterloo Colts. Bryn Thomas (2), Bobby Phillips (pen), Mikes Jones, Steve Morris and Llion Jones were all on the mark.
In the Village Cup, goals from Darren Edwards (2) and James Broadbent secured a 3-0 win for Llangedwyn at home to Kerry Reserves.
