Bluebirds in Village Cup final
Caersws Reserves have booked their place in the final of the Llansantffraid Village Cup following a dramatic victory over Trewern United.
With the scores all square after normal time, an extra 30 minutes were required with the Bluebirds edging through 2-1.
Meanwhile in the league, Llanymynech lost 3-2 in a mid-table tussle with Morda United while there was a shock in Mitsubishi Two with Newtown Wanderers seeing their promotion hopes hit with a 5-1 home defeat by Trefonen.
Bishop’s Castle made it 14 wins from 14 with a 5-0 verdict at Waterloo Reserves.
