Winter League set for finale

It’s a busy time at Lakeside with the Winter League drawing to a close and the new season under way.

This week’s penultimate Winter League round saw George Davies (9) win on the countback with18 points from Kevin Lloyd (10) in second, and Scott Theobald (15) in third with16.

The Anderson Challenge Cup was a closely fought affair with Philip Edwards (28) winning with a net 66 on countback from Andrew Wyatt (14) in second and Joe Davies (8) in third. Davies took the gross with a 74, narrowly beating close rival Marius Van Lill (8) on 75 and Wyatt in third with 80.

Tonight (Thursday), the club’s Annual Meeting will take place at 7pm at Argae Hall.
