42 points takes tournament

A large field contested the Greensomes pairs cup held at Lakeside.

Clayton Bowen and John Stansfield (18) came out on top with 42 points and runners up were Jane Rix and Helen Swindlehurst (30) with 41 points, just ahead of Joe and Mark Haycock (18) in third with 40.

The opening round of the summer league was won by Rix (26) who continued her good form with 19 points. In second was Joe Haycock (23) with 18, winning on the count back from Julian Preston (21) in third.

The first round of the summer gross league was won by Joe Davies, with Brendan Weaver in second and Andrew Wyatt in third.
