Waterloo can claim title Tuesday
It could be a big night for Waterloo Rovers tonight as a win can secure the Honda Division One title.
A win over struggling Caersws Reserves would mark a tremendous turnaround for the club which was facing an uncertain future last summer after withdrawing from the Spar Mid Wales League.
But officials have rallied round and the players have delivered on the pitch to put them on the brink of potentially another memorable night in the club’s history.
Second placed Llanfyllin, who are five points behind with two games to play, are not in action but third placed Meifod, also five points adrift of Rovers, travel to Llanrhaeadr.
At the other end of the table, Guilsfield Reserves will try and pull themselves out of the bottom two against Berriew Reserves.
In Mitsubishi Two, unbeaten champions Bishop’s Castle are at home to Kerry Reserves while Trewern will look to sign off from their successful return to football with a win against Newtown Wanderers which would secure second spot.
