Adele breaks another record

Shot putter Adele Nicoll took another huge stride towards the 2018 Commonwealth Games with another massive throw at the weekend.

The Welshpool athlete threw a championship record 16.25meters in the British Universities Games for her first B Qualifying standard of the year.

“Now it’s time to improve on that mark and get as many qualifying standards as I can before the closing date in November,” said Adele.

“I would like to thank everyone for their continued support. It’s really appreciated.”
