Llanfair complete Cup hat-trick

Llanfair United have clinched the Montgomeryshire Cup for the third time in a row after beating Llanrhaeadr 3-1 in front of a bumper crowd in Llanfyllin on Wednesday night.

After a goalless first half, United took the lead through James Davies before the game exploded into life with an equaliser from Glenn Evans. But with seven minutes to go, Andrew Hughes returned the advantage to Llanfair who confirmed the win with another late goal from a Davies header.
