It’s exciting times for Llanfair United but frustrated manager Daryl Griffiths (right) has called for improvement on the pitch.
Off the pitch the club is going places. Work continues on ground improvements and advertising boards are being erected for the first time around the pitch to increase revenue streams.
But on the pitch, the club has become one of the Spar Division Two’s most inconsistent teams and it is nagging Griffiths.
“Llandod were better than us from the off on Saturday,” said Griffiths whose side went down 3-1 at home and slipped to fourth from bottom in the process. It came just a week after they beat the same team away.
“You can’t switch off in this league. You can’t afford to be off your game at all because you will lose and we proved that on Saturday. We are far too inconsistent and it is frustrating. There are no easy games because anyone can beat anyone on their day.”
And United will be hoping for one of those shocks this weekend when they travel fourth placed Rhosgoch desperate for points.
