Top notch Cup ties ahead

16/02/2011 @ 12:09

Talk about trying to win cups the hard way!

Berriew take on Huws Gray Alliance heavyweights Caersws tonight (Wednesday) in their postponed fourth round tie but will face another Alliance club, Penrhyncoch, should they win.

The Spar Division One leaders travel to the Recreation Ground tonight for a 7.30pm kick off and should be fresh having not played on Saturday.

“We’re looking forward to testing ourselves against a very good side,” said manager Neil Pryce (right): “We need to be at the top of our game and have a bit of luck and then hopefully we can progress.”

Christian Webster and Shane Davies are out so the left wing is still a troublesome position for Pryce.

Another fourth round match tonight sees Llanidloes Town take on Rhayader Town. The winner of that match will entertain Guilsfield.

Elsewhere in the fifth round, holders Waterloo Rovers still need to beat Carno to meet Llanrhaeadr or Montgomery in the fifth round. Llansantffraid Village go to Rhosgoch Rangers.
