Entries needed for ‘boat race’

It may not be the Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race, but Welshpool’s very own battle on the waters promises to be a lot of fun.

The Coracle Relay will form part of the Welshpool Canal and Food Event on July 22, and entries are still being taken for teams of four. It’s free to enter too!

“The highly anticipated event on the day will be the Coracle Relay taking place at 1:30pm. Local groups/organisations will compete in teams of four, with all equipment provided and no experience necessary,” said a spokesperson.
