If the pace of normal football is a little too quick for you, there is a chance to try the booming sport of walking football on Sunday in town.
As part of the town’s Festival of Sport, Welshpool Town Football Club is organising a walking football tournament at Maesydre.
All ages are welcome for the noon start and to enter a six-a-side team you can call 0778 8581014.
