Roberts joins TNS on loan

Talented defender Callum Roberts has joined Welsh Premier League champions The New Saints on loan from Shrewsbury Town.

Roberts, the son of former TNS, Welshpool Town and Newtown midfielder Mark Roberts, was awarded a full time contract at Shrewsbury at the end of last season and has made appearances from the bench for the First Division club.

Roberts who is pictured being welcomed to Park Hall by new manager Scott Ruscoe. he will be at the club until January.
