Chris Proctor returned a superb score of 42.5 to lift Saturday's Winter League Medal competition at Welshpool Golf Club on Saturday.
There was a good field an in still conditions Proctor finished one point ahead of Steve Pritchard 43.5,and third Dean Bowen 44.
On Sunday the Rabbits and Tigers stableford competition was played in damp conditions with first place eventually going to Martin Ward & Mark Bell with 34pts. Second were Justin Williams & Mike Gittins 31pts,and third Marc Brown & Dave Read 30pts.
At Llanymynech Golf Club the Men’s Team of 4 AM/AM played over Saturday and Sunday and was won by James Hampson, Wes Rowley, Tom Brown & Keith Hampson – 92pts. Runners up were Gary Owens, Tom Fairclough, Ron Fox & Roy Jones on 91pts. Third were Mike Rooke, Brian Beckett, Charlie Jones & Andy Don on 87pts.
