Aiming for Britain’s hot shots

A Llanfair Caereinion man has started 2011 with a bang and has his sights firmly fixed on becoming one of the country’s top shooters.

 

David (Dai Tom) Williams, followed up his success at the Inter Regionals with another fine performance at the British Open Championships in Bisley last week.

 

Shooting against the top shooters in Great Britain, his score of 563 out of a possible 600 placed him a very credible 13^th, only an agonising 10 points away from a top five finish.

 

Accumulative scores over the two events mean he has moved up to second in the Welsh rankings.
