Former Caersws, Guilsfield and Technogroup Welshpool manager Mike Barton (right) has quit Welsh football following a season he 'wants to forget'.
Barton left Guilsfield to join close rivals Town earlier in the season but quit weeks later after a fall-out with the then chairman and has since been playing in goal for Four Crosses in the Spar Mid Wales League.
But the former Newtown and Shrewsbury Town stopper has decided to take time out from Welsh football and has joined Morda across the border.
"I just feel I need a break from it after the season I've had," he said. "I want to put this season behind me as soon as possible as it has been one to forget! There is a lot of travelling in the Spar League as well so I felt it best to sign for the local club and spend more time with the family.
"I'll regroup in the summer and see what next season brings."
