Spar trio go for Cup glory

17/11/2017 @ 12:54

Cup fever hits Berriew, Llanidloes Town and Llanfair United this weekend with all three landing home ties in the FAW Trophy.

With places in the last 16 up for grabs, Berriew host Wrexham side Brymbo while The Daffs entertain Llanrug United and Llanfair welcome Corwen.

The day’s big action from the leagues sees Newtown hope for a Welsh Premier boost as Barry Town United visit, while in the Huws Gray Alliance, Guilsfield travel to Porthmadog and Caersws host Rhyl.

In Spar League action, leaders Welshpool Town are at home to Borth, and there’s a big day of Amateur League action with the top flight shaping up to be one of the most competitive title chases for some time.
