Welshpool on cup duty

Spar Mid Wales League leaders Welshpool Town take a break from championship action tomorrow (Saturday) to concentrate on the League Cup.

Pool trounced Llandrindod 5-0 last week to go eight points clear of Llanrhaeadr and 10 points ahead of third placed Carno but joint managers Chris Roberts and Neil Pryce will welcome the break. The Lilywhites are at home to Brecon Northcote.

There’s an interesting clash at Llanrhaeadr where Carno are the visitors, while Llanfair are sat home to Churchstoke.
