Adele is the best of British!

Welshpool youngster Adele Nicoll (right) has once again underlined her potential as a future Olympian by retaining her British U15 Championship title with yet another record throw.

 

Adele has enjoyed a tremendous start to 2011, proving she is just as talented indoors as competing outside, and took the top prize at Saturday’s Aviva England Athletics Open U15 Championships at the NIA in Birmingham.

 

She competed in the Shot Put and retained the title with a throw of 13.36m, she set a new championship best performance by breaking the previous record which had stood since 2003.

 

Adele, whos is ranked UK No. 1 for her age group for her best put of 13.56m, trains with the Birchfield Harriers and her multi events coach is Trevor Marsay and her throws coach is John Parkin.
