Town, Guils in midweek action

Guilsfield manager Russell Cadwallader believes his players will need to ‘get ugly’ in order to clinch well needed points on the heavy Huws Gray Alliance pitches.

 

He watched his side outdone in a physical challenge by Cefn Druids on Saturday on a heavy Guilsfield pitch and believes tonight will be another battle of brawn at Buckley.

 

“Cefn were far more ruthless and effective than us; at times we are too pretty,” said Cadwallader who is without defenders Joe Coulson and Llion Davies tonight.

 

Technogroup Welshpool’s revival came to a shuddering halt on Saturday. Manager Chris Herbert is expected to shuffle his pack for tonight’s visit of Rhos Aelwyd.
