Five star Llanrhaeadr
Llanrhaeadr kept the pressure on Welshpool Town at the top of the Spar One with a stunning 5-1 win at fellow title chasers Llanidloes Town.
Tommy Evans was in top form as he bagged a hat-trick, keeping the pressure on Welshpool Town who earned a 2-1 win at Llandrindod Town thanks to goals from Ian Probert and Adam Davies.
Berriew’s youngsters were amongst the goals as they trounced Bont 7-1, while Llanfair United edged a thriller 5-4 against Radnor Valley.
In Spar Two there were wins for Abermule, Montgomery and Dyffryn Banw.
Meanwhile in the Huws Gray Alliance, 10-man Guilsfield were held to a 2-2 draw by Flint Town United.
Captain Chris Cathrall put Guilsfield ahead in the sixth minute, but star striker Asa Hamilton was sent off after 20 minutes to throw the game open. It allowed Flint back in as they levelled after 33 minutes, but Guilsfield retook the lead through Callum Bromley seven minutes before half time. Flint got their leveller shortly before the hour.
