No change at the top
A brace for Will Thomas on Friday night saw Welshpool Town maintain their top spot in the Spar Mid Wales league, but Llanrhaeadr are still favourites for the title.
Sharp shooter Thomas scored at the end of each half to secure the 2-0 win against Llanfair United, but Llanrhaeadr eased to a 3-1 win at Kerry thanks to a Daniel Graham brace and Khyam Wyton to keep them four points off the top, but with a whopping five games in hand.
Abermule have hit some super form since Dave Anthony took the helm from Clive McNamee, and he celebrated being named Spar Two’s Manager-of-the-Month by beating Talgarth 11-1.
However, there was very little action on Saturday, with Huws Gray Alliance games featuring Caersws and Guilsfield cancelled.
